Keep your daily operations running smoothly with the Operations Calendar. Easily manage departures, staff schedules, shifts, and resources from one central view while quickly switching between calendars, adjusting layouts, and filtering the information most important for your day-to-day tour operations.
Accessing the Operations Calendar
Click on "Operations" and then click on "Calendar".

The Operations calendar gives you a clear overview of your daily operations, including departures, staff schedules, and assigned resources.
Different calendar views
Use the tabs at the top to switch between Departures, Employees, and Resources.
Departures Calendar
You can use the search field on the departure calendar to look for specific tour for instance, here we have searched for the Golden Circle. Click on "Clear filters" to clear the search.
Filtering the departure calendar
You can filter the departure calendar by "Status" of the tour, planned, confirmed, pending, started, finished, cancelled or failed.
or filter the departure calendar by "Products"
and if you click on "More filters" it will open a drop down with time, language, location, certification and resource type. These filters are created by labels you have added to the product, resource or staff member.
You can also show all departures by clicking the checkbox by "All departures" then you will see all your products, regardless if they have bookings or not.
Changing the departure calendar layout
Choose between Day, 3 Days, or Week view depending on how you want to plan your operations. The default view is 3 days. Click on "Week" to view the +7 day view.
here we can see the +7 day view, the week view will always start on today and has the following 6 days to simplify the assignments on the following days. Click on "3 Days" to go back to that view.
You can switch to compact view by clicking on the highlighted button
Assessing the employee calendar
to view the employees calendar, click on the "Employees" tab.
Filtering the employee calendar
You can use the search field on the employee calendar to look for a staff member
You can type in their name and then you will only see that staff member. Click on "Clear" to go back to default.
You can filter the employee calendar by "Location"
or filter the employee calendar by "Position"
filter the employee calendar by "Staff"
filter the employee calendar by "Status" of their shift - Draft, Published, Pending, Accepted or Rejected
filter the employee calendar by "Type" - shift, leave, availability and unavailability
filter the employee calendar by "Labels" - this filter is created by labels you have added to the product, resource or staff member.

If you click on "Create Shift" a pop up window opens up and you can create a new shift, click here to learn how to create a shift.
you can also generate a work report by clicking "Work Report"
Then will be moved to the Work Report tab on the shifts overview page. Click here to learn more about work reports.
Changing the employees calendar layout
Choose between Day, 3 Days,Week or Month view depending on how you want to plan your shifts. The default view is 3 days. Click on "Week" to view the +7 day view.
And here we can see the +7 days view, click on "Month" to view the month view.
And then we can see all shifts in April, you can always choose what month to view by clicking on the month name above the calendar. Lastly let's take a look at the Resources calendar by clicking on the "Resources " tab.
Resource Calendar
Since we were on the month view of the employees calendar we land on the month view of the resources calendar. You can also filter the resource calendar,by "Status" assigned, unassigned, conflicts and in progress

Click on "Week" to view the +7 day view.
