You can show a product with its own name and code in PaxFlow without changing the product in your booking system. You can also choose whether PaxFlow shows the full name or the code on departures and the calendar.
Change the name or code of a product
Go to Settings > Products and click the name of the product.
In the Display Name Override card, click Edit.
Enter the new name in Product Title Override. Enter the new code in Product Code Override. Under each field, PaxFlow shows the original value from your booking system.
Click Save Changes. PaxFlow shows Display name settings updated successfully.
Your booking system keeps the original name and code. To go back to the original, click Edit, clear the field, and click Save Changes.
Note: The Display Name Override card is not shown for products that you created in PaxFlow. To open Products, your user group needs access to Products.
Choose whether to show the name or the code
Show as sets how PaxFlow labels the product on departures and the calendar. The default is Full name.
Open the product and click Edit in the Display Name Override card.
Under Show as, select Full name or Code.
Click Save Changes.
If the one you choose is empty, PaxFlow shows the other one. When PaxFlow shows the code, hover over it to see the full name.
See the new name on Departures
Go to Operations > Departures. Each departure shows its product the way you set it. In this example the product is set to show the code.
To look at one page another way, use the Default | Code | Name switch at the top of the page. Default uses each product's own setting. Code and Name show every product by code or by name.
Click Name. The product shows its name.
Note: The switch only changes the page you are on. It is not saved on the product. The switch shows in Cards view, not in Table view.
