Quickly update the status of your tours directly from the Departures view. Whether confirming, cancelling, or marking a tour as finished, you can keep your operations up to date and notify passengers when needed, all in just a few clicks.
Accessing departures
Click on "Operations" and then click on "Departures"
From the Departures you can click on "Actions" on the tour you are changing the status on and click on "Change Status"
Change Status
A pop up window will open up. When you open the drop down "Change status" you can choose from different options, Planned, Confirmed, Cancelled, Pending, Started, Finished and Failed. Choose the status that you want to change the tour to from the drop down, here we have chosen "Cancelled".
You can choose if you want to allow passengers to cancel or reschedule the tour on their own. Click the checkboxes to do so.
And then you can select a date range that they can modify their booking within.
You can add a "Public reasons for status change" or "Internal Note" if needed.
Modify Message for SMS message
Click the checkbox for "Notify Customers Manually" to send a E-mail or SMS to all passengers.
Then from the drop down choose a message template
Next click on "Modify message"
You can edit the SMS if needed, if not click on "Review Recipients & Send"
Last step is to click on "Send" and a notification will be send via SMS to all passengers on the tour.
A success message will appear at the top right corner that the status has been changed and the message sent out. The tour status has also changed to "Cancelled"

Changing Status via Bulk Actions
You can also change the statuses of all departures is via "Bulk Actions". Click on "Bulk Actions" and then "Change all statuses"
Here you can choose from different status options, Planned, Confirmed, Cancelled, Pending, Started, Finished and Failed.
Here we chose "Confirmed" as our status change of all tours. You can click on "Change Status" if you don't need to notify customers about the change of departure status or you already have automations set up to send messages when a departure has been confirmed.
And now you can see all tours are "Confirmed" and a success message appeared at the top right corner.
