Sending SMS to passengers from the departure level is quick and efficient with message templates. Whether you need to share important updates, meeting instructions, or last-minute changes, templates help you communicate consistently with just a few clicks. Follow the steps below to learn how to send SMS directly from a departure.
Send SMS messages from Departures
Click on "Operations" and then click on "Departures"
On the Departures list you can click on "Actions" on the right hand side of the tour, then click on "Send Message" and finally click on "SMS".
Click on the drop down to choose the template you want to send
and then click on "Save & Continue"
Keep in mind that messages longer than 160 characters are split into multiple segments and each segment is charged like a separate SMS. Once you are happy with your SMS message click on "Save and Continue"
All passengers are pre selected but you can deselect the ones you don´t want to send the SMS to by clicking on the check box below "Select Recipient". When you are ready to send your SMS click "Send".
A success message appears and you have sent an SMS to the departure. Click on "View Logs" to see the sent messages log
View the SMS in sent messages logs.
Click on the arrow in front of the message to see who it was sent to.
and then you can see that the SMS was "Delivered"
