Sending SMS messages to passengers from departure level is easy and convenient with our message templates. Below are easy to follow steps on how to send SMS messages from a departure level.
Send SMS messages from Daily Departures
Click on "Departures" and then "Daily Departures"
On the Departures list you can click on "Actions" on the right hand side of the tour, then click on "Send Message" and finally click on "SMS".
Click on the drop down to choose the template you want to send
and then click on "Save & Continue"
Keep in mind that messages longer than 160 characters are split into multiple segments and each segment is charged like a separate SMS. Once you are happy with your SMS message click on "Save and Continue"
All passengers are pre selected but you can deselect the ones you don´t want to send the SMS to by clicking on the check box below "Select Recipient". When you are ready to send your SMS click "Send".
A success message appears and you have sent an SMS to the departure.
Sending SMS Message from Departure Details
It´s also possible to send SMS messages from each tour, lets have a look at the Golden Circle Classic tour by clicking on the name of the tour.
In the Departure details we can see the passenger list. In the top right corner you can click on "Actions" - "Send Message" and then click on "SMS"
Select a template you want to send and click on "Save & Continue"
