Sending WhatsApp Message to a Passenger

PaxFlow makes it easy to send WhatsApp messages directly to passengers from different parts of the platform. Whether you're working from Departures, Booking Details, or Departure Details, you can quickly select a passenger, choose a message template, and send a WhatsApp message with just a few clicks. SMS fallback can also be enabled if needed, ensuring your message gets through even if WhatsApp delivery fails.

Assessing Daily Departures

Click on "Departures" and then click on "Daily departures"

Click on the arrow in front of the departure to find the passenger you want to send the WhatsApp message to.

Find the passenger you want to send WhatsApp message to, click on the "Actions" drop down then click on "Send Message" and choose "WhatsApp"

Choose the template you want to send out

And click on "Save & Continue"

It´s possible to enable SMS fallback by clicking the "Enable SMS fallback" field. If you don´t want to have a fallback SMS then click "Save & Continue"

You can add segments to the messages, the default is always "arrived", "confirmed" and "dropped off". In this case we are only sending to one customer so no need for segments so we can click on "Clear Filters"

Click on "Send" to send the message

A success message will appear and the WhatsApp message has been sent out and you can always click on "View Logs" to view the sent message.

Click on the Booking Reference of the passenger you want to send the WhatsApp message to.

Click on "Send WhatsApp"

Choose the template you want to send

And click on "Save & Continue"

You can also enable Fallback SMS to ensure your customer gets the message even if they don´t have WhatsApp by clicking on "Enable Fallback SMS"

If you have a fallback SMS already set up on your template then it will appear, if not then you can type in to the text field your fallback message

and then click on "Save & Continue"

Then click on "Save & Continue"

You can verify the passenger information before clicking on "Send"

A success message will appear and the WhatsApp message has been sent out and you can always click on "View Logs" to view the sent message.

and click on the name of the tour you want to open up

Find the passenger you want to send WhatsApp message to, click on the "Actions" drop down then click on "Send Message" and choose "WhatsApp"

Choose the template you want to send

and click on "Save & Continue"

and then click on "Send"

A success message will appear and the WhatsApp message has been sent out and you can always click on "View Logs" to view the sent message.
