Easily assign guides and other resources from the Operational Calendar to keep your daily tours and staffing organized. With a clear overview of departures and employee schedules, your operations team can quickly manage assignments and shifts in one place.
Accessing the operational calendar
To start off click on "Operation" and then click on "Calendar"
Assigning from departure calendar
This tour already has an assignment template on it, so the template will assist you on what needs to be assigned on this tour. Click on the "Bus" to assign a resource to the departure.
Choose the resource you want to add, here we are choosing "A Tour Bus 1"
next click on the "Guide" to assign a guide to the departure.
And then choose the guide you want to add to the tour.
next click on the "Driver"
and click on the name of the driver you want to add to the tour.
then assignment template is fully assigned and you can see highlighted in green 1/1 at the top of the assignment template.
Assigning staff on shifts from Employees calendar
To assign a staff on shift you need to click on the "Employees" tab
To assign an staff member on a shift you need find the date and staff member you want to assign click and click on the block - see highlighted below.
You can select the time range if needed, the default is 09:00-17:00 for shifts and then click on "Select location" and choose the location you want to add. These locations are your experiences from your booking systems.
next click on "Select position" and choose the position, here "Guide" is chosen.
If you want to make the shift draft mode you can slide the highlighted toggle
then you would be saving the shift in draft mode, slide it back to make the shift public right away.
Lastly you need to click on "Create shift"
a success message appears "Shift created successfully" and you can see the new shift created.
