Create a shift

In PaxFlow, the Shifts feature helps you easily create and manage different types of shifts—whether you’re assigning a driver to a tour, blocking time off for a team member, or leaving shifts open for staff to claim.



Accessing Shifts

Click on "Operations" and then click on "Shifts"

in the shifts overview, click on "Create shift"

A pop up window opens up. The Start end End date can be edited by clicking on the date drop down.

and the duration of the shift can be edited by typing in the start and end time.

Then you can choose the location by clicking on the location dropdown. Here we are choosing the Golden Circle Classic. The locations are the products from your booking system.

Next choose the position you want for the shift by clicking on the position drop down and choose a role - here driver is chosen.

and lastly choose the staff member you want to assign by clicking the staff member drop down.

once you have filled everything out, click on "Create shift" to save the shift.

A success message appears and you have created a new shift - you can see it at the bottom of the list.

Create a unavailability shift

in the shifts overview, click on "Create shift"

A pop up window opens up. click on "Unavailability"

Then choose the start and end date for the unavailability shift by clicking on the date, then choose a date from the drop down calendar - and time by typing it in next to the date.

next choose the staff member you want to assign to the unavailability shift.

You can add a comment into the title field - vacation, sickness or any kind of reason for the unavailability if needed.

then click on "Create unavailability" to save the shift.

A success message appears and you have created a new shift - you can see it at the bottom of the list.

Create a unassigned shift

in the shifts overview, click on "Create shift"

if you don't need to edit the start and end time and date, click on "Location" and choose a location from the drop down.

Select a position for the shift, here we are choosing "Guide"

And for the staff member leave it as "Unassigned"

and once you have filled everything out, click on "Create shift" to save the shift.

A success message appears and you have created a new shift

you can see the unassigned shift at the bottom of the list above the unavailability shift.

In Enroute your staff can see the unassigned shift and claim it.
