The Pax List tab in Settings > Operations is where you create and change saved pax lists. A pax list sets the columns, the sort order, and the booking statuses that office staff and dispatchers use to view, download, or print pax.
Open the Pax List settings
Go to Settings > Operations.
Click the Pax List tab.
The page shows your lists on the left and the settings of the selected list on the right. The page opens on your default list. If you have no default list, it opens on the first list.
What the page shows
My configs: your own lists. Only you see them.
Company configs: the lists that all users in your company see.
Columns: the columns of the selected list, in order.
Sort order: the rules that sort the rows.
Statuses: the booking statuses that the list includes.
Your default list shows Default under its name. The company default list shows Company default.
Create a pax list
Click New config.
Enter a name for the list.
To make the list your default list, select Set as default config.
To share the list with all users in your company, select Set as company config. Only admins see this checkbox.
Click Save.
The page shows the new list. The list has the standard columns, no sort rules, and all statuses.
Two lists in My configs cannot have the same name. The same rule applies to Company configs. If the name is already in use, a message tells you. Enter a different name.
Change the columns
Note: Click Save Changes before you select a different list. If you select a different list first, PaxFlow does not keep your changes.
Click the name of a list.
To add a column, click the column name under Add column.
To remove a column, click the X icon at the end of its row.
To move a column, drag the dots icon to the left of the column name.
To change the title of a column, enter the new title in the box next to the column name.
Click Save Changes.
A message tells you that PaxFlow saved the settings. The new title shows in the column header of the Pax list report and of the downloaded file. To use the default title again, clear the box.
Sort the rows
Click the name of a list.
Under Add sort rule, click a column. The rule shows in Sort order with the direction Ascending.
To sort in the opposite direction, select Descending in the rule.
To add more rules, do step 2 again.
To change the order of the rules, drag the dots icon to the left of a rule.
To remove a rule, click the X icon at the end of its row.
Click Save Changes.
PaxFlow sorts the rows by the rule that shows Sort by. When two rows have the same value, PaxFlow uses the next rule, which shows Then by. If a list has no sort rules, the downloaded list uses the sort of the table on the screen.
Include only some booking statuses
Click the name of a list.
Under Statuses, select each status to include. The statuses are in two groups, Counted towards pax and Excluded from pax.
Click Save Changes.
When you select no status, the list includes all statuses. When you select statuses, the Pax list report and the downloaded and printed lists show only the bookings with these statuses. In the list menus, the name of the list then ends with the statuses, for example Morning list - Arrived only.
Set your default pax list
Click the star icon under the name of a list.
The list shows Default. The Pax list report, the Departures page, and the details page of a departure open with your default list. Your default list applies only to you. It can be a list in My configs or in Company configs.
To remove your default list, click the star icon again. PaxFlow then uses the company default list. If your company has no company default list, PaxFlow uses the standard columns.
Set the company default pax list
Only admins can do this task.
In Company configs, click the building icon under the name of a list.
The list shows Company default. Users who have not set their own default list use this list. Your company has one company default list. When you set a new one, the previous list is no longer the company default. To remove the company default, click the building icon again.
Duplicate a pax list
Click the copy icon under the name of the list.
Enter a name for the copy. The name box starts with the name of the list and (copy).
To make the copy your default list, select Set as default config.
To share the copy with all users in your company, select Set as company config. Only admins see this checkbox.
Click Save.
The copy has the same columns, sort order, and statuses as the original list. Users who are not admins can duplicate a company list to make their own version.
Share a pax list with your company
Only admins can share a list. You share a list when you create it or when you duplicate it. To share a list that is in My configs, make a copy:
Click the copy icon under the name of the list.
Select Set as company config.
Click Save.
The copy shows in Company configs. The original list stays in My configs.
Rename a pax list
Click the pen icon under the name of the list.
Enter the new name.
Click Save.
Delete a pax list
Note: You cannot undo a delete.
Click the trash icon under the name of the list.
Click Delete.
Notes
The Pax List tab shows only when your company has departures in PaxFlow. To open Settings > Operations, your user group must have access to it.
Admins are users with the Admin or Owner role. Only admins can change, rename, or delete a list in Company configs. Other users do not see the pen icon or the trash icon on company lists. When they click a company list, the page shows Only company admins can change company configs. Duplicate this one to make your own version.
You use the saved lists in Reports > Pax list, on the Operations > Departures page, and on the details page of a departure. On a departure, the Download Pax List (CSV), Download Pax List (Excel), and Print Pax List menus show your lists.
