How to set up pickup groups
A pickup group is the set of tour start times whose guests are picked up together. PaxFlow creates one pickup per group per day, so set up your groups before you start planning.
Create a pickup group
Go to Settings → Operations → Pickup groups. You can also click Manage pickup groups in the Pickup planner.
Click Create new pickup group and give it a name your team will recognise, for example "Reykjavik hotels".
Choose the tour start times that belong to this group. Guests on these start times are picked up together.
Leave Active ticked. Only active groups show in the Pickup planner.
Decide whether to tick Use tour vehicles as pickup vehicles (see below).
Click Save Group.
Use tour vehicles as pickup vehicles
Tick this when each tour bus drives its own pickup circle before the tour. The buses assigned to the group's tours, and their crews, are then added to the group's pickups automatically.
Leave it off when you run a separate pickup fleet, for example vans that collect guests and bring them to a meeting point. You then add the pickup vehicles yourself.
Good to know: new groups start with this switched on. Groups that existed before this feature start with it off, so nothing changes until you turn it on.
