Resource settings

Written by PaxFlow Customer Support

Under Resource Settings, you can manage how PaxFlow handles resource scheduling conflicts. From here, you can choose whether PaxFlow should ignore conflicts, show a warning, or block overlapping assignments to help keep your operations running smoothly.

Accessing Resource Settings

Click on Settings and then click on Operations.

Click the Resources tab.

Resource Conflict Detection

The Resource Conflict Detection setting controls how PaxFlow handles resource scheduling conflicts. When the same resource is assigned to overlapping departures or shifts, you can choose whether PaxFlow should ignore the conflict, display a warning, or prevent the assignment altogether.

In the Resource Conflict Detection section, select the option that best fits your workflow:

Disabled – PaxFlow will not check for resource scheduling conflicts.

Warn – PaxFlow will notify you when a resource conflict is detected, but you can still continue with the assignment.

Block – PaxFlow will prevent resources from being assigned if doing so would create a scheduling conflict.

make sure to click on Save changes to apply your changes.

A success message will appear and your preferred settings have been saved.
