How to verify your WhatsApp Business Account Information

Verifying your WhatsApp Business account is done through Meta’s Business tools and only takes a few steps to complete. You’ll be asked to confirm your business details, contact information, and your connection to the company before submitting everything for review. Follow the steps below to move through the verification process and submit your account to Meta for approval.

On your Facebook Business account, click on "All tools" and then click on "WhatsApp Manager"

Under Verify your business click on "Get Started" (highlighted below)

A pop up appears, click on "Start verification"

You will be directed to a new tab and there click on "Start verification"

Next click on "Get started"

Choose the county your company is in if it is not pre selected and click on "Next"

Choose the option that best describes your company, and then click on "Next"

Fill in the address of your company

Once you have filled it out, click on "Next"

Then you need to fill in the company phone number.

Once you have added the phone number, click on "Next"

Fill in the name of your company, if it does not get pre filled out and click on "Next"

Meta will then look up any official records of your company to verify its real, if it finds any you can select your company under the results and then click on "Next"

Then you need to review if all the information is correct. If it is click on "Next"

Then you need to confirm your connection to the business, choose how you would like to confirm the connection and click on "Next"

Here we have chosen email, type in your email address and click on "Send email"

Then add the verification code sent you your email and click on "Next"

Then you have finished verifying your account and can click on "Done"

Your account is now "In review" - Meta can take up to two business days to verify your account.

Once reviewed your account should be verified. You should also receive an e-mail about your account now being verified, and all account admins have been notified.
