To connect WhatsApp to PaxFlow, you need a phone number that is eligible to be registered on the WhatsApp Business Platform (API).
There are two ways to get a phone number what works with WhatsApp Business Platform on PaxFlow:
Option 1: Use a Free Phone Number Provided by Meta
If you do not already have a business number, Meta allows you to create a virtual phone number during the setup process.
What this means:
No SIM card or physical device required
The number is provided inside the Meta Cloud API setup inside of PaxFlow during the setup process
Verification is handled digitally
Fastest and simplest option for many operators
At first setup your Meta Business Manager account may only allow registering 2 numbers for the platform. You’ll need to ensure your account is verified and meets Meta’s criteria to scale beyond that.

Option 2: Use Your Own Business Number (Mobile or Fixed-Line)
You can use your company’s dedicated phone number, as long as it can receive SMS or voice calls for the initial verification code.
Requirements:
Must be a business-owned number
Can be mobile, landline, VOIP, or call-center number
Must be able to receive SMS or phone calls during setup
Numbers that cannot be used:
Numbers already active on personal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business App (until deleted/unlinked)
Temporary or disposable phone numbers
Numbers that cannot receive SMS or calls (for example some internal PBX extensions)
Important considerations:
If the number is currently active on Personal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business App, it must be removed from that app before it can be used on the Platform.
Once registered on the WhatsApp Business Platform, this number cannot be used in the WhatsApp mobile app anymore.
