Assigning resources to departures ensures tours run smoothly, passengers are properly accommodated, and available vehicles or equipment are used efficiently. It helps streamline operations and avoid overbooking or resource conflicts.
Accessing departures
Click on "Operations" and then click on "Departures"
Assigning a Resource to a departure.
Under Departures there are two ways to assign a resource on a tour.
You can manually add a recourse by clicking on "Add assignments"
then click on "Add Resource" and choose the resource you want to add from the drop down.
And then a success message appears and you can close the assignment
Or assign the resource using the assignment template, to do so click on "Bus"
and choose the resource you want to assign to the departure - This adds the resource on a departure level to the tour.

Assigning staff on the resource
Click on "Driver" by the assigned bus
and choose the driver you want to add to the tour - the system will match the drivers that fit the assignment template that is on this tour.

Adding a resource on a activity level
It´s also possible to add a resource on a activity level - click on the name of the product to open up the passenger list.
You can select all the passengers by clicking the checkbox by pickup place
Click on the "Select resource to assign" dropdown to select a resource
and choose the resource you want to add - it would be ideal to add the bus you assigned to the tour, since that will be the tour bus.
And then click on the plus icon highlighted to add the resource to the passengers.
A success message will appear and you have added the resource to the passengers selected.
