Create Resource

Creating a new resource in PaxFlow is quick and flexible. You can define key details such as name, type, color, license plate, and description. You can also assign usage types, set passenger and staff capacities, and even add images or videos to enhance your resource profile. These features make it easy to tailor each resource to your operational needs.

Start by clicking on "Operations" and then click on "Resources"

On the resources overview, click on "Create a Resource"

Now you need to add a Name, Type, Licence Plate or Identifier, Assignment Type, Description, Labels, Pax Capacity, Staff Capacity and Color for your Resource. Start off by typing the name.

In the "Licence Plate or Identifier" field add a license plate number or other identification to the resource.

Once you have added the Name and Licence plate, you can choose the assignment type. The options are Tour, Pickup, Drop off and Other. You can select a few at once

In the "Description" field you can add a description of the resource

You can also add a hyperlink, image or youtube video to the field if needed. Let´s add an image to the description by clicking on the image tab

then click on "Select an Image" - that open up an pop up window where you can browse an image from your computer

Once you have added the image a pop up window appears saying "Image loaded. Click Insert to add it."

and lastly click on "Insert" to add the image

Passenger Capacity means the maximum number of passenger seats in the Resource and Staff Capacity is how many staff seats are available - usually driver and guide.

You can also choose a color for your resource by clicking on the color field - you can also copy the hex color code into the field.

Next you need to choose Labels. You can add labels for Resource Type, Location, Certification, Language, Capability and Other

The options for Resource Type are: Car, Bus, Minibus, Van, Boat, Ship, Helicopter, Plane, Bicycle, Scooter, Motorcycle, Snowmobile, Group, Restaurant, Hotel, Building, Room Location and Guide. If you can´t find the type of resource you use, please contact us and we will add it in the list. Here we are choosing "Bus"

Let´s also add Location - here we are choosing "Reykjavík"

Let´s also add a certification - here we are choosing "D drivers licence"

Lastly lets add "Bus Tours" as a label.

And then you can see the added labels at the top.

Click on "Create Resource" to save your new Resource.

A Success message will appear and your new resource has been created

and if you click on the name of the bus

you will go to the resource overview
