Create Resource

Creating a new resource in PaxFlow is quick and flexible. By clicking on Resource Management and selecting Create Resource, you can define key details such as name, type, color, license plate, and description. You can also assign usage types, set passenger and staff capacities, and even add images or videos to enhance your resource profile. These features make it easy to tailor each resource to your operational needs.

Start off by clicking on Resource Management and then click on Create Resource.

Now you need to add a Name, Type, Licence Plate or Identifier, Assignment Type, Description, Labels, Color, Pax Capacity and Staff Capacity for your Resource. Start off by typing the name.

In the "Licence Plate or Identifier" field add a license plate number or other identification to the resource.

Once you have added the Name and Licence plate, you can choose the assignment type. The options are Tour, Pickup, Drop off and Other. You can select a few at once

In the "Description" field you can add a description of the resource

You can also add a hyperlink, image or youtube video to the field if needed.

Passenger Capacity means the maximum number of passenger seats in the Resource.

Staff Capacity is how many staff seats are available - usually driver and guide.

You can also choose a color for your resource by clicking on the color field - you can also copy the hex color code into the field.

Next you need to choose Labels. You can add labels for Resource Type, Location, Certification, Language, Capability, Restriction and Other

The options for Resource Type are: Car, Bus, Minibus, Van, Boat, Ship, Helicopter, Plane, Bicycle, Scooter, Motorcycle, Snowmobile, Group, Restaurant, Hotel, Building, Room Location and Guide. If you can´t find the type of resource you use, please contact us and we will add it in the list. Here we are choosing "Bus"

Let´s also add Location - here we are choosing "Reykjavík"

If you can´t find a label that you need you can always create it by clicking on "Add"

Add a name for your label.

And add a "Description" if needed

Choose a color for your label

And click on "OK" to save the label.

A Success message will appear and your new label is now created and choosen.

Lastly lets add "Bus Tours" as a label.

And then you can see the added labels at the top.

Click on "Create Resource" to save your new Resource.

A Success message will appear and your new resource is on the bottom of the list.

You can click "Create a Resource" from the Resources overview.

By clicking on the note icon under Description you can view the Resource Description.

Let´s add an image to the Resource Description. Click on insert image

You can add a link or upload a file from your device, lets upload a photo - click on "Select an Image"

Once you have selected a photo a success message appears saying "Image loaded. Click Insert to add it."

Click on "Insert" to add the photo.

and then click on "Save"

A success message will appear, click on "Close" to close the pop up window.

Then your resource description is updated.

Click on "Departures" and then click on "Daily departures"

Open up the departure that the resource is assigned on and in the "Actions" drop down click on "Open on PaxPortal" on a booking.

The Resource Description is listed under "Transport" on PaxPortal, click on show more to view it

And then you can see the full description on the resource.
