Manage cancellation requests

In cancellation requests you can view all the booking cancellation requests that customers make in the customer PaxPortal. You can choose here weather you want to Approve or Decline the requests.

Let´s take a better look at how you can approve cancellation.

Approving a Cancellation

Click on "Bookings" and click on "Cancellation Requests".

Click on "New" and then click on Approve Request.

When you approve a cancellation request you will get a pop up window asking you to Approve cancellation. If you cancel the activity, the booking will also be canceled in Bókun.

And you should get a Success message that the booking was updated

and Request has changed to "Approved"

Your customer will now see on PaxPortal that the tour has been Cancelled.

Declining a Cancellation

Click on "New" and then click on Decline Request.

To confirm the cancellation request click on "Decline cancellation"

And you should get a Success message that the booking was updated

and the Request has changed to "Declined"

Your customer should see on PaxPortal that the cancellation request was declined.

Cancellation from Booking Details

on the departures view click on the Booking Code of the passenger to open the Booking details.

In Booking details you can cancel the booking by clicking on "Cancel Activity".

Click on "Cancel Activity"

You can now see that the Activity is cancelled. If you cancel the activity, the booking will also be canceled in Bókun.

and if you click on "Open on PaxPortal"

Your will see the customer view on PaxPortal, and that the tour has been Cancelled.
