How to request cancellation for booked tours

In PaxPortal your customers are able to request cancellation of a booked tour. This is a quick and simple way to communicate with the operator.

Request cancellation

your customers can click on "Request Cancellation" to start the cancellation process.

They need to fill in the reason for cancelling and click on "send cancellation request"

A success message will be displayed, and your cancellation request has been sent to the operator.

This action will send an email notification to the operator to inform them about the cancellation request and you can open the booking directly from that email.

Managing cancellation requests

To manage the Cancellation request go to Bookings - Cancellation Requests and Click on "New" and there you can Approve or Decline the request. Click on "Approve Request"

Then you click on "Approve cancellation"

A Success message will appear at the top of the page.

Status updated in PaxPortal.

The status of the tour will now be "Cancelled" on the PaxPortal.
