Automated E-mail templates.

Accessing E-Mail Templates Library
Click on "Messages" and then click on "Email Templates"
Click the "Show default template" checkbox.
Creating E-mail template from Library
Choose the template you want to work with and click on "Copy"
A copy of the template will be created and appear at the top of the templates. Click Actions and "Edit" on the "Copy of Rate & follow" template to edit it.
You can adjust the Template Title, Purpose and Description as you want. Just make sure to click the checkbox by Active if you want to activate your template.
Next click on Open Template Editor.
Then your default template will appear, here you can adjust it as needed.
Editing the Template
Add your company logo, change the color of the text and write the text fitted to your company. One of the things you can do to modify your template even further is adding more social media tabs, to do so click on the field where the social media tabs are.
Adding personalized icons
Click on "Add new icon"
Let´s click on the "YouTube" icon
And then you should see it on the template (Highlighted below). Just make sure to add the correct URL´s for your company´s socials on the right hand side settings.
Previewing the Template
Click on Show Preview to see a preview of your E-mail template.
Here you can see a preview of Desktop view of the E-mail. Click on Mobile to see the mobile version.
And here you can see a preview of the Mobile version. Click on Back to Editor to close preview mode.
Once you are happy with your template you can either click on Save or click the X in the top right corner. Keep in mind that the template builder auto saves the te.
Sending Settings for E-mail Template
Here you can adjust the Subject, Preview Text, Reply to email address, CC and BCC. You can add personalized tags by clicking on "Personalize"
On the right hand side you will get a pop up with most of the personalization tags available. Lets choose "Customer First Name"
And then you have added the customers name in the Subject field.
Automatic Template Type
Email Templates can be Manual or Automatic. If you click on the "Automation" toggle you will switch to Automatic.
Now you need to fill in the information below
Choose for which products/departures/start times the template is for, Schedule for When to send out and what Event and When you send it out, that is how many days, hours or minutes before/after.
Target Recipients
You can also select what customer segments you send to. You turn it on by sliding the toggle. Its possible to narrow it down to Booking Channel, Booking Seller, Missing Booking form Answers. Activity status, Missing E-mal Address, Missing Phone Number and Others.
If you click the drop down for each segment you can choose to exclude segments if needed, here we are choosing to only send to confirmed tours.
If you turn it off then all your changes will be disabled.
Manual Template Type
However if you want it to be Manual then you need to click on the "Automation" toggle
Then you will have the Template Type as "Manual". To save your template click on "Update"
And then you have successfully created new Template from the templates library - see the highlighted green line below.
