PaxPortal Branding settings

You can adjust the branding settings of your PaxPortal under the PaxPortal > Branding . Let´s take a closer look at options available:

To adjust the branding options, navigate to "PaxPortal" and then click on "Branding" on the main menu on the left.

Company Info

Under Branding you can adjust your Company information, just make sure to click "Save" once you have made your changes.

Company Logo and Brand Colors

PaxFlow will automatically sync your company logo from Bókun. We recommend uploading an optimized version of your company's logo to PaxFlow.

You can also choose your Main color and Secondary color. These colors are used as highlight colors on PaxPortal i.e. for headings and links. Make sure to click "Save" once you have selected your colors.

Header Navigation

You can add your own custom links to the header navigation on PaxPortal. You can add up to five links into the header navigation.

To customize the header navigation, just add the link URL and type the link name into the"Link Text" field. Once you have added the web pages you want to display make sure to click on "Save"

Here you can see where the pages are listed at the top of your PaxPortal.

Custom Domain for PaxPortal

You can use your own Custom Domain for your PaxPortal. To do so you need to make sure that you already own and control the DNS of the domain you wish to use for PaxPortal. We recommend using a sub-domain of your main domain i.e. my.yourcompany.com.

Follow the instructions below on how to set up a custom domain for your PaxPortal. Once you have created your custom domain make sure to type in in the field and click "Save".

Custom domain configuration

  • Decide on the domain you want to use (e.g., my.yourcompany.com).

  • Ensure you have access to manage DNS records for this domain.

1. Enter Your Custom Domain

  • In the PaxPortal admin panel, locate the "Custom Domain" section.

  • Enter your full domain, including 'https://' (e.g., https://my.yourcompany.com).

  • Click "Save" to register your domain in PaxFlow.

2. Configure Your DNS

  • After saving, you'll be provided with a unique CNAME value for your custom domain.

  • Log into your domain registrar or DNS provider's control panel.

  • Create a new CNAME record with the following details:

3. Wait for Propagation

  • DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate, though often it's much quicker.

  • Our system will periodically check for the correct DNS configuration. Our system will show "Connected" when is everything is ready.

4. SSL Certificate

  • Once we detect the correct CNAME record, we'll automatically provision an SSL certificate for your custom domain.

  • This process typically takes 15-30 minutes after DNS changes are detected.

5. Check Status

  • Return to the PaxPortal admin panel and monitor the "Status" field.

  • It will change from "Not set up" to "Active" once the domain is fully configured and the SSL certificate is in place

7. Test Your Custom Domain

  • Once the status shows "Active", try accessing PaxPortal through your new custom domain.

  • You should see your PaxPortal instance loaded under your branded URL.

Important Notes:

  • The CNAME record must be set up exactly as provided for the custom domain to work correctly.

  • If you experience any issues or the status doesn't change to "Active" within 48 hours after setting up the CNAME record, please contact our support team for assistance.

  • This process creates a secure, custom-branded access point for your customers to use PaxPortal services.
