SMS Message Quota
To send SMS messages through PaxFlow, your company must have an active SMS quota subscription with available credits. PaxFlow requires at least 1 credit for each message part it sends.
Check your remaining SMS quota
Open Settings and select Message settings.
Select the Quota Settings tab. PaxFlow opens Quota & Subscription Overview, where the SMS cards show the remaining SMS amount and, for subscription quota, the renewal date.
Buy SMS quota
Open Settings and select Subscription & Billing.
Select the Plans tab.
In Add-ons, choose the SMS option that best suits your needs:
SMS – Monthly Credits: Select Update to adjust your recurring monthly SMS allowance. Credits renew each month, and any unused credits expire at the end of the monthly billing period. You can change or cancel your subscription at any time, making it easy to adjust for seasonal demand.
SMS Quota – Pay as you go: Select Fill Up to purchase a one-time bundle of SMS credits without a recurring subscription.
PaxFlow also exposes Buy SMS quota from the Customer SMS dashboard. That link opens the same Subscription & Billing page. Trial accounts can view the add-ons but cannot purchase them.
SMS Message Parts
A single SMS message part can contain up to 160 alphanumeric characters. If your message includes special or non-standard characters, the limit is reduced to 70 characters per message part.
If the message exceeds the 160-character or 70-character limit, it will be sent as a multi-part message. In this case, additional SMS credits will be used. For example, a message that exceeds the single-part limit will be charged as 2 credits. The customer will still receive the message as a single SMS conversation on their device.
Other limitations on sending SMS messages
Please also note that there might be other limits regarding sending SMS messages via PaxFlow.
The character count displayed on the template is an estimation. Personalization parameters may affect the final character count when replaced with the information from the booking details and decide how many SMS parts are required to deliver the message.
